Mr. Klutznick will an-ive* here by plane .shortly &fter noon. He will be met by local B'nai B'rith leaders and press representatives and will be escorted to City Hall for the traditional civic welcome aftcord-ed a visiting dignitary. Later in the afternoon there wjill be a press conference in the Hotel Vancouver.

All members of the Jewish community are welcome to attend the annuaa meeting of the Council on Tuesday, February 23. it was emphasized this week by Dr. J. V, White, Council chahr-man. However, delegates from all organizations affiliated with Council are particularly urged to be present.
According to constitutional provision any persbn over 21 who is an adherent of the Jewish faith and who subscribes to the annual campaign or is a member of any affiliated agency of the Council is considered a member of the Jewish Community Council. The local United Jewish Appeal is regarded as the annual campaign referred to in the constitution.
All nfiembers of the Conomunity Council are entitled to partici-< pate and vote^ on all matters arising at the annual meeting including the election of, 15 members at large to the Board of
Representatives. The 15 newly elected members at large, to<^ gether, with the delegates .from all affiliated organizations constitute the new Bj>ard of Representatives. After the conclusion of the annual reports and proceedings the Boartf • of^" Representatives elects the ofUcers and executive for ,the ensuing year. The executive includes the president, three vice-presidents, honorary secretary, honorary^treasiirer, and ten members at large elected from the Board of Representatives. The chairman of all standing committe<<s of the Community Council automatically become members 6i the executive and additional members may l>e added to the executive by coopting to a maximum of 10.
A film on centre program activities will be shown at the annual meeting this year. Further details of the program will be announced next week.
Two out of three resolutions proposed by the Zionist Organization of B.C. were passed by the recent national conference of he Zionist Organization of Canada, it is reported by Vancouver elegates who are now back from the convention in Montreal.
A public Zionist s3nnposium has been arranged for. Thursday, ebruary 18 in the TalmUd Torah Auditorium at 8:30 p.m. to give he entire Jewish community an opportunity to bear at first hand of the results of the convention. All Vancouver delegates will par-icipate in the symposium around
the topic: «*The Future • of Zionism in Canada."
Participants in the symposium will be David Silvers, Les Raphael, Morris Jacobson, Dr. M. W. Steinberg, prof. Sam Lipson, Jack Kagna and Lou Lefohn- .
Since the return of the delegates there has been increased activity in preparation for a more active year of Zionist effort in Vancouver and B.C.
Everyone in the community is invited to attend the Zionist symposium. There will be no appeal'for funds.
