Holy Day Progrom On CJOR Sundoy
Congregation Schara Tzedeck of Vancouver will present over Radio Station CJOR (600 kilocycles) "a special broadcast dedicated to this most sacred Jewish Holyday period. The broadcast will be heard on Sunday morning, October 3, at 10:45 a.m.
The program under the direction of Rabbi Bernard Golden-berg, spiritual leader of Congregation Schara Tzedeck will feature interpretations of certain major High Holy Day prayers by the Rabbi and two selections of High Holy Day liturgical chants by Cantor David Reznik of the Congregation.
For this broadcast Rabbi Gold-enberg will explain the significance of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) the most sacred day in the Jewish Calendar and also point out the universal themes of peace, freedom and individual responsibility which find such striking echoes in the High Holy Day Prayer Book.

Kbl Nidre Services at Schara Tzedeck will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening, October 6. The sermon by Rabbi Goldenberg i will be given following chanting] of the Kol Nidre by Cantor Reznik. Yom Kippur morning Thursday, Oct. 7, services will be^in at 8:00 am.
Yiskor Memorial Service will be said atll:30 a.m. The sermon will be given prior to thie Yiskor | Service atabout 10:50 a.m.
A special prayer service for Juniors will be held in the Synagogue. Chapel at 3:00 p.m. A sermonette and responsive reading will form part of the service.
