The Bulletin did not wish to imply or infer through the column that Messrs. Wilson & Kofoed conducted their real estate and insurance business upon a dis-crimii^Jatory basis.

Allan E. Gold, was elected for a second term as President of Con^egatiph Beth Israel at the 23rd annual meeting which was held last Sunday afternoon, December.151'.,
The aimual meeting heard reports from the chailinen of all standing committees. In add^^bn to Mr. Gold, the following officers w^re elected: Dr. A. Breen, Vice-President; Cta. Bonan, Far-nass; Joseph Simon, Hon. Secretary; L. Le Fohn, Hon. Financial Secretary; S. Chess, Treasurer.
Upon motion by Moe Cohen, ^Ibert p. Koch, Past President 6f the Congregation, was elected Honorary Past President.
The Past Presidents of the Congregation in addition to Mr. kbch are, I. W. 6hfej^, E^^^^^ Mpiris, Joseph Satanby. In their capacity as Past Presidents they automatically serve on the board.

CALGARY — A unanimous decision to establish a Calgary Jewish Commimity Council was taken here at a meeting held on Dec. 26 attended. by a large rcr presentative group of, Jewish organizations and other public spirited members of the community. A Board of Directors (pro-tem) representing 17 Organizations were appointed to formu-
late the policy for the formation of a Community Council and obtain the approval of the individual Organizations for its inception. The temporary Board is comprised of: Mr;s. The /'crookedest Bingo game in the world" will take place in the Shaughnessy Hospital Thursday December 23 at 7:30 p.m. and is being sponsored by the Fair-view Branch of the Canadian Legion and the B'nai JB'rith Family. This Chanuka-Christmas Party is an annual dffair when hospitalized veterans in the Shaughnessy Hospital are recipients of gifts which are donated for this purpose.
Rabbi David Kogen will be present to comment on the Jewish festival of Chanuka which this year is being celebrated during the Christmas week.
Entertainment is being donated for this occasion by a concert team who are currently appearing at the Cave Supper Club. The committee* in charge of preparing for this gala occasion are representatives of the Fairview Branch of fiie Canadian Legion and the two mens Lodges and three women's Chapters of BB.
