"SPORTS HIGHLIGHTS OF
1954" will be the featured movie at the third meeting of Schara ! Tjredeck's recently inaugurated Prayer and Breakfast Club Sun-|day morning, January 23 at 9:30 a^m. The movie will show the top events of the BEG Games including the Bannister-Landy Miracle Mile, the Grey Cup game and outstanding plays of the 1954 World Series. This movie will be the climax of a very interesting morning which starts with a short prayer Servjce at 9:30, a 10 minute study period led by
Rabbi Goldenberg at 10 o'clock, followed by a hearty Sunday morning breakfast.
The Prayer and Breakfast Club has now become a regular Sunday morning event at Schara Tzedeck. All fathers and children . . . whether members of Schara Tzedeck or not, are invited.
INSTITUTE FOR ADULT JEWISH STUDIES at Schara Tzedeck will begin its winter session on Monday, January 31 and will end on Monday evening, February 28. . '
The winter term will offer for the first time a series of courses and panel discussions in the area of Jewish Music and Israeli Folk Dancing.
On Monday, January 31 and on Monday, Pebruaty 7, the Institute will offer recorded, concerts devoted to Liturgical and Israeli music, respectively. A panel of expert* and musicians will comment. The concerts will begin at 8:15 p.m. and end at 9:00 pjn.
The last three Mondays of the hstitute: Feb. 14, 21 and 28, will be devoted to the teaching of sraeli Folk Dancing led by an experienced Instructor.
Hebrew for beginners will also be given during the winter session beginning at 8:00 p.m. At 9 o'clock, Rabbi Goldenberg will continue his series of lec-ures on basic Jewish concepts.
