WILLIAM FREEMAN, aged 72, passed away on January 12. Born in Russia, Mr. Freeman, came to this country in 1906, living in New York for two years, then moving to Vancouver in 19p8. He was a member of Beth Ham-idrosh and Schara Tzedeck Congregations, Vancouver Lodge No. 668 B'nai B'rith, ^chduth Society, and the Zionist Organization of B.C., serving on the Zionist Board at the time of his passing. ,
Mr. Freeman founded the firm of W. Freeman and Son Ltd., manufacturers of lighting fixtures, in 1931, and was president of that company at the time of his death.
