Schara Tzedeck Synagogue was the scene of a wedding held on Sunday, January 16, when Bell6, daughter of Mrs. A. Schwartzfeld and the late Mr. Schwartzfeld, Vancouver, formerly of Regina, Sask., became the bride of David Weinberger, son of the late Mr.' and Mrs. P. Weinberger. R^bbi Bernard Goldenberg officiated at the ceremony, assisted by Cantor David Reznik and Cantor Abraham Deutsch. Vocalist was Miss Helen Schoenbrun, professional singer of radio and television, New York, who. sang Oh Promise Me.
The bride, given in marriage by her uncl6, Mr! J. Schwartzfeld of Reginja, wore a floor-length gown of white Chantilly lace over net and taffeta; the fitted bodice buttoned to the waist at the back and the ]fe)Ouffant skirt insetted wih panels of net. The nylon sheer yoke was-;outlined in tiny "seed pearls^ the same design carried out on the collar, and her chapel veil' fell from a coronet encrusted with pearls and rhinestones. She carried a white mother-of-pearl prayer book, topped with a mauve orchid and white hyacinths.
Mrs. Rose Margolese, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lil Weinstein, cousin of the groom, and Sandra Kalef, cousin of the bride. Gail Margolese, niece of the bride, was junior bridesmaid, and twin nieces of the bride, Leona and Merle Margolese, were flower girls.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weinstein attended the groomj and Mr. I. Tischler acted as Best Man.
Dinner and dance followed the ceremony, when Dr. Siieppy Margolese, brother-in-law of the bride, acted as Master of Ceremonies,^ and Mr. A. A. Frew proposed the toast to the bride.
The newly wed couple left on a honeymoon trip to Vancouver Island and Harrison Hot Springs.'
Out of town guests included: Mr. and Mrs. C. Polsky and Leonard, Brandon, Man.; Mr. and Mrs. J. Schwartzfeld, Mrs. A. Sandom-irsky, Sharon and Larry, Mrs. Dave Moss, Miss Sylvja Finkelstein, all of Regina; Mrs. Ralph Kalef, Calgary, and Miss Helen Schoenbrun. of New^York City. .
