GORDONIA CLUB wiU hold a Lag B'Omer Luncheon on Tuesday, May 10 at 12:30 p.m. at the Gommunity Centre. This luncheon is being held in place of the Annual Tea, and Sam Rothstein, who recently returned from Israel will be guest speaker. Miss Vera Chechik, who also spent some time in Israel will present slides on Israel and the ghettos of Europe.

PIONEER WOMEN'S COUNCIL are planning the "Give or Get" Luncheon to be held May 31. There will be a guest speaker, and members are asked to keep this date open. Further plans will be announced.

GLENEAGLES LADIES' MATINEE BOWLING LEAGUE playoff for the league championship between the Pelman and Groberman teams has been postponed, due to illness, to Tuesday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. The bowling luncheon will be held the following Friday, May 13 at the Barn.
Gleneagleis .Mixed Spring League held a workout last Wednesday evening for the purpose of establishing averages for the official opening on Wednesday, May 4. Sol Pelman was high for he men with 716, followed by Maurie Chernov 686, Al Miller 680, and Abe Giu:vin 670. Mil) elm^n was tops for the ladies with a big series of 761 which included the high of the evening, a 309 count.

Following a buffet luncheon in the Patricia Room of the Georgia Hotel at 1 p.m., Gdalia Zakiff, National Executive Director of the Zionist organization of Canada will give a special address at a session to be chaired by Dave Silvers.
The conference program will include workshops in "Education and Public Relations," "The Crisis in Fund-Raising," and "Appraisal of Zionist Structure in Western Canada."
The conference will be concluded with a gala ball under the auspices of the Vancouver Hadassah Council Sunday evening, May 22 in the auditorium of the Beth Israel Synagogue.
