The enrolment this year is at a record high^making it necessary for the Talmud Torah to rent four addi-^ tional classrooms at the Beth Israel Synagogue to acccMnt^i^^te the increase. Because of the good progress shown by the pupils, many parents have taken their children from Grades one to five of the public schools and transferred them to the Talmud Torah Day School.
The Talmud Torah Grade 6 grad uates of last year will have their first sessira on Monday, Se|»tember 17 at 4 p.m. This class will be instrucW by Mr. A. Assaf.

ARCHTteCTS COLLABORATIVE Oi^ BRITISH COLUMBIA is a new and unique group of architect^, who recently opened offices-at 1073 W. Broadway.
The architects forming this group are James Y. Johnstone, B. Arch., Des. RCA, MRAIC, Arthur S. Read, B. Arch., MRAIC, F. W. Scott, B. Arch., MRMC, and Harald Wein-reich. Dip. Arch. EPF (Swiss), ARIBA, MRAIC.
These four architects have come together in the belief that the specialization 6i- modern economy is fast denying • the iiidividual architect his right to-full contribution of his talents becaiue he is required more and more tcrdeal,with but one limited aspect «f architectural procedure. ■ ■• .
JAMES JOHNSTONE, a resident of New Westtiinster, served with the RCAF during^ithe war, then attended the UBC Scl^ of Architecture, graduatihg in] 1952. He is at present,secretary of the Vancouver chapter of the Architectural Institute of B.C. and is also on the executive committee of the Vancouver branch of the Community Planning Association of Canada.
*F. W. SCOTT served as a navigator in the RCAF during the war. Resuming his studies at UBC in 1946, he obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1952.
Mr. JScott is active ill several community projects and is currently vice-president of the. Vancouver Hdusing Association. He is also president of the architect's division of the UBC Alumni Association.
HARALD WEiNREICH first began his formal architectural training at the t'echnische Hochschule in
Munich, Germany. This was followed by two years of sftidy in Paris at the Ecole des Travaux Publics, and by his!.completion of the full course in architecture at the Ecole Polytech-nique'i Federale ip Zurich, Switzerland, where he received his degree Dip.'Arch, in 1939,
The outbreak of war found Mr. Weinreich in London, where he took the:.final examination of thb Rbyal Institute of British Architects.
