Registration at the Schara Tzedeck Religious School tHis
year has nearly doublecl over last year's enrollment, it was announced this week by Harry Toban, chairman of Sch.ara Tzedeck's Reli^pus School Committee. Itere are how four
classes including- one Kindergarten group.
The Schara Tzedeck Religious School also has a branch ;^ West Vancouver which this ye^ added a first grade to the kindergarten group.
Late registration will be accepted at the Schara Tzedeck office this Sunday; September 16 from la a.m. to 12 noon. :

In addition to the regular Religious School curriculum the Schara Tzedeck School will also sponsor during September a series of special assembly, programs, l^ese assemblies will deal with the High Holydays and the Succot Holidays and will feature stories, games, music and a display of religious holiday items.
A new kindergarten group to meet only on Sundays has also been organized. Registration for this group is limited to children, ages five to seven.
However, children over six may
also register for grade one which meets three times a week.
The Schara Tzedeck Religious School curriculum include the 'following subjects: Hebrew reading and writing, language, Bible studies, Israeli h^toiy, customs and ceremonies, current events, arts and crafts, dramatics and dancing.
Harry Toban is chairman of the School Conunittee with Joseph Youngson acting as co-chairman. A competent teaching staff, under the supervision of Rabbi Bernard Golden-berg is in'charge of the program.
