VISIT OF WEST GERMAN EADER PROTESTED
NEW YORK—The Society for the prevention of World War III has urged U.S. Secretary of State Dulles o cancel a visit to Washington by Dr. Hans Globke, State Secretary of the West \perman government, who was one of Hitler's experts on racial egislation. Albert Simard, secretary of the So-iety, said in his letter to Dulles that Globke's commentaries on the Nuremberg laws "formed the basis of the nazi extermination program." Globke's commentaries have been described by Karl Gerold, publisher of the Frankfurter Rundschau as "banners above the bloody trail of millions of human beings of Jewish ancestry."'
J. J. Diamond accepted registration for these classes.
The group also selected four representatives to plan the program for the next gathering, in conjunction with the Evening Group of the National Council, and Canadian Jewish Congress. This will take place on Tuesday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m.
A most suitable musical program of Jewish songs was presented by Cantor Deutsch of Beth Israel, assisted by Miss Sonia Milston at the piano. Refreshments were served.
