LADIES AUXILIARIES
SISTERHOOD OF 3EIH ISRAEL will open their fall season with luncheon meeting, Wednesday, September 18 in the auditorium of the Synagogue. Convenor is Mrs. J. Coop-erband. A delightful program is arranged with Mrs. A. Kramer and Mrs J. Gordon in an adaption of a play by I. L. Peretz entitled "If not, even higher." Mrs. Ben Shapiro will lead the community singing. The annual repor will be given by the president Mrs. Moe Levine.
SCHARA TZEDECK LADIES' AUXILIARY have changed the date of their next luncheon meeting to Monday, September 16, at 12:30 p.m Mrs. Gertie Lemer and Mrs. Helen Waldman are conveners. Rabbi Gold-enberg will speak on *The High Holidays—Customs and Ceremonies — Their Origin and Significance." . The business portion of the meeting will be the finaliz^tion of plans for the Fall Tea being held this year at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Diamond, and convened by Mrs. Bess London with Mrs. Helen Weinstein as co-convener. r ♦ * •
