THE CULTURAL SIDE of life in Israel; was ably illiiminated ijor the Zionist board by Sinai Leichier %ith the aid of slides and epmtxiientary. Sinai is the very able JNF shaliach from Israel to western Canada with headquarters in Winnipeg, and he will be here next week with the Israeli art exhibit at the Beth Israel. The exhibit promises to be a very worthwhile event and it has been emphasized that the paintings will be for sale and may be purchased with Israeli bonds or for cash.
Sft Sjft
THE PROGRAM presented at this Zionist board meeting which we have briefly reviewed was really good enough for a community-wide meeting on the Israel anniversary and it's too bad that tiiis vasn't done. In any case we hope that Sinai Leichier will have more of an opportunity to bring his cultura presentations to Vancouver in the future.
