THIRTY YEARS AGO . SEPT. 11. 1930 — Editorial stated that situation about Jewish young men of Seattle, (as reported in the Jewish Transcript), not being interested in young ladies of their own faith, was not a serious situation, and percentage of inter-marriage remains small. "There will always be a few young men and women of Jewish faith who cannot see sufficient, charms in the young people of their oy/n race, and who will seek the friendship and love perhaps of Gentiles. Thousands of years, \ however, have passed since the first inter-mar--riages, and although Judaism has, weakened at timesi from that cause, it ultimately comes out on top, vital,* race-ConScioiis and dominant."

WHY YOU SHOULD
VOTE COMMUNIST
The Communist Party is the only political party which places the question of peace at the top of its platform. No serious party concerned with the peoples interests can do otherwise. This is the most vital pro-bleni of the day. This is as much a provincial question as it is a federal matter. .
The Jewish people, who suffered so much in the first world war, and lost 6 million because of nazism in the second world war, know this very well. They know that the Nazi forces in West Germany have been permitted to reform their ranks. They know that these dark forces join hands with the would-be war-makers everywhere to plunge the world into a devastating holocaust. Nor are the Nazi forces confined to West Germany.
Recently, the postal services of Canada have been used for the distribution of the vilest kind of Nazi filth. Emanating from Washington, D.C., Rockwell's Nazi Party has been busy jsending anti-semitic, anti-Negro, and war propaganda to Canadians. Their national policy openly declared that they "will get rid of the Jews in gas chambers". They boastfully use Hitler's swastika smear campaign. They call for the formation of storm troops. They boast about the international character of their movement.
This is the naked face of Fascism and War! There are organized groups of these people in Canada! This is why the fight for peace is simultaneously the fight against Nazism. The Communist candidates alone, place peace and the struggle against the war-makers first.
Your Communist candidates call for the banning of such vile hste and war propaganda from the mails. The Communist Party is the Party of Peace!
