B.B. meet postponed
B'nai B'rith Vancouver Lodge No. 666 has postponed its regular general meeting from Tuesday, Jan. 17 to Tuesday, Jan. 24.
B'nai B'rith officials stated that the meeting, v/hich will take place at the Jewish Community Centre, is being held over out of courtesy to the B'nai B'rith members who wish to attend the semi-annual meeting of flie Beth Israel congregation be-pkg held Jan. 17. _

These children are the responsibility of world Jewry, for virithout Youth Aliyah "they would be lost to civilization. Hitler's furnaces and those who found only suffering and persecution in the ghettos and mel-lahs, have become useful citizens of Israel only by the grace of the generous contributions of world Jewry.
During Youth Aliyah Month, Jan. 15 to Feb. 15, Hadassah members will be canvassing the men of Vancouver for their contributions. Be generous, because without B.C.'s financial aid, Youth Aliyah work in Israel would have to be curtailed.

One woman will be chosen "Queen for the Day" by her contribution. Foodstuff is still vitally needed for the food hampers for the "Adopted Family." It would b e appreciated i f contributions are brought to this meeting. - Plans for an interesting and enjoyable evening have now been made with regard to the visit of district president, Mrs. Irving Wieder.
