Farewell to Andre and Elizobel-h Hanko
Following the tragic death of their child in the Community Centre, Ivir. and Mrs. Andre Hanko, janitors of the Centre for the past two years, have decided to seek mploy-ment elsewhere. The Hankos have enjoyed a fine relationship with the many organizations and individuals who use the building and their departure will be a matter of general regret.
Any organization or individual which wishes to contribute to a gift to the Hankos may make arrangements with Lou Hilford in the Community Centre office.

you have about $400 that isn't doing anything.
Since I have not had the opportunity to drench myself in luxury by guesting at the GOLDEN DCt>ii, I'll have to resort to quotations from various Fashion and Beauty Editors who have been there and from publicity releases for and about the GOIiDEN DOOR.
"The spa is built like a super-super de luxe mfotel around the inevitable swimming pool. The Decor is in exquisite taste. Enormous picture windows form complete walls to frame the magnificent vista of high snowcapped mountains and eucalyptus-covered hills that surround the nestling spa like a bowl. Each room is in a'different decor to suit the taste of the occupant — the ^sitting room -— bedroom might be French provincial, con-temporai-y Victorian, colonial Empire, Swedish modern, Chinese modern or American." — Take your pick!
The credo of the GOLDEN DOOR is'Relax, Revive and Reduce — and how this organization is set-up to achieve all this, is a story in itself. So for now, I'll have to let you settle down in your luxurious suite and un-i pack. I'll be back next week to tell you more about it.
Glowing reports are still coming in about Mrs. Paulette Fink, who will be our guest speaker at the LUNCHEON. We owe the opportunity to hear Mrs. Fink in great measure to Mr. Albert Kaplan, chairman of the Men's U.J.A. drive, who helped convince the Men's U.J.A. Executive that despite the fact that Mrs. Fink is a woman — she can still do a masterly job of helping them to maximum effort for this campaign. Mr. Kaplan who heard Mrs. Fink in Palm Springs, says of her. "She is a.dynamic speaker who completely captivated her audience, and who, when through, received a standing ovation."
There's another program treat planned for THE LUNCHEON, something new and wonderful for the observance of Israel's Thirteenth year of Statehood — but that you'll have to wait to, hear about.
I hope the A and B canvassers have been knocking at your door this past week. You might as well expect them to ask for increases — the aim of the over all campaign is 10 To higher thani

Special thanks to the Pioneer Women's Council and Mir-rachi Women's organization for tending their good wishes. She is now convalescing at hornet 4862 Ridgelawn Driven North Burnaby.
The best news of all comes from our canvasser without peer, Mrs. Yorsh. "This dear lady has already received thirty-nirie contributions — practically all with increases. Mrs. Yorsh can almost predict the trend of any campaign by her early contacts. This year it is good! Good! Shalom. -^Anne Zimmerman
