Cisco. "Prior to this they will be Visiting Mr. Katznelson's father and other meimbers of his family in Israel for several months.
The assembled guests heard Manny Batist, chairman of the Vancouver Histadrut campaign, bring greetings to the departing guests and good wishes for a Bon Voyage. Joshua Checov, president of the Vancouver Histadrut campaign was fondly reminiscent about the many years of association with the honored guests on behalf of Israel through the Histadrut campaign. Ben Garber, chairman of the Labor Zionist Council of Vancouver, stressed the importance of the direct support to Israel's pioneers and immigrants, towards which tasks the honored guests have lent their dedicated efforts for many years. Mr. Garber continued that he was fully confident that this support for Israel would continue to be close to their hearts wherever they are.
On this occasion, the first contribution of $10,000 towards the building of a Batei-Avot (Home for the Aged) through the Israel Histadrut Development Foundation was announced by Mr. and Mrs. J. Bogoch—this structure to bear their name for eternity. This announcement was warmly applauded by all present.
In bidding farewell to friends of many years standing, the guests of honor thanked all present for the touching testimonial and assured them that they would continue in their dedicated work for the Jewish State.

BONN — The West German Government has asked the International. Red Cross to act as intermediary disbursing agent to pay compensation monies to victims of Nazi medical experiments now living in Iron Curtain lands. This intermediary step is necessary as Germany has no diplomatic relations with such Communist countries as Hungary, Poland, Rumania and Czechoslovakia where many victims of Nazi inhuman experiments now reside.
