NEW FRONTIER
(Continued from Page 2) The J.N.F. thus continues its 60-year endeavours, extending the sovereignty of the^ Jewish homeland now even as it has since the beginning f this century when it was first established, he Fund continues to represent the aspirations f millions of Jewish people the wOrld over, ho, having been persecuted for two millenia, lave striven, worked and contributed to the .^eren Kayemeth as a means of renewing and safeguarding of Jewish nationnooa ^n order to rovide a sanctuary for Jews fleeing from coun-ries of oppression.
You are able to see a tangible record of these niversal hopes and yearnings when you visit laces such as Korazin or when you are able
to visit the J.N.F. offices and inspect the very imposing volumes known as the "Golden Books." j Bound in beautiful hand engraved covers and i preserved under glass, the Golden BoOks- contain tens of thousands of inscriptions preserving for posterity the individual and organizational expressions of faith of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel. They are important not only because they chronicle the events of Diaspora Jewry but because they help to provide the means for the ongoing work of the Jewish National Fund, providing employment for thousands of Jewish labourers, draining swamps, clearing the rocks and creating fertile valleys and plains.
Korazin is yet another such accomplishment and fulfilment of their faith.
