The regular luncheon meeting of the Schara Tzedeck Sistferhood is being held ion Wednesday, January 24, at 12.30 p.m. in the synagogue auditorium.
Mrs. Gerald Chirnomas will give a talk on the meaning of "Tu B'Shvat".
Members of the Sisterhood who are departing on the tour to Israel on Jianuary 31, will be honored and bid Bon Voyage at the luncheon.
"Sing Along With Cele", will also be presented by Mrs. Celia Margolis, accompanied by Mr. Desmond Hbgan on the piano.

A recent visitor in Victoria was Mrs. Joseph Garber of London, Ont. Mrs. Grarber visited with her sister, Mrs; Ai Gordon and her niece and With Mrs. R. Barer and their families.
January meeting of Hadassah took, place on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Plans were made to launch the Youth AliyahBrive with a social eviening on Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Synagogue Social hall.

MENKES—GARAWAY WEDDING
A lovely evening wedding was conducted by Rabbi Abrams in Herzl Synagogue, Seattle, on Saturday, Dec. 30, 1S61, when Miss Betsy Caraway, eldest daughter of Mrs. Sadie Caraway of Seattle was united in marriage with Dr. Edwin Menkes,
elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Menkes of Victoria.
Making up the bridal pairty were the maid of honor, Miss Sharon Caraway; Misses Shirley Menkes, Barbara Barrett and Miss Epstein. Best man was Mr. Harold Menkes and groomsmen Mr. Barry Coroway, Larry Caraway and Walter Zalter. Junior bridesmaids were Misses Diebby and D&rlene Caraway. Following the wedding a lovely reception was helct in the DAR hall.
