This year's^ star-studded offering is entitled, "Never On a Monday" and was written and Jirected by Barbara Minuk. Veteran Histadrut workers pictured above are: Ben Lapi-dus, treasurer of the Histadrut Campaign, and original member of Histadrut in Israel, whiclr was organized in 1920; Leon Jam-polsky, chairman of special '*-vent£—-a dynamic worker in the ciause of Habohim and Histadrut; and Felix Freedman, who has been doing yeoman work for the Histadrut Campaign in Vancouver and contributing great effort and energy to assure the success of this year's canipaign.

There was a one-hour T.V. I program on Israel recently on ' the French Channel in Montreal and a number of radio programs in English and French. The "La Patrie" had an interview with Mr. P. Eliav, Israeli Consul General in Montreal, on the scientific progress of the State of Israel; the "Le Petit Journal" had an interview with Mrs. Eliav en the position of women in Israel and the "La Presse" had , an article on Israeli archaeology. |
