JEWISH WESTERN BULLETIN
Dining "Top O' the Royal" will soon become the password for a unique and elegant evening. Through slanted window walls which give the dramatic illusion of being outside,' "Top O'the Royal" diners are able to view a spectacular night scene of the city replete with lights from the Fraser river and boats on the water,
A gourmet's menu in a scarlet and gold coat features both supremely different cuisine together with many of the all-time great favorites. These are pre-pp.red with love and care in the Dining Room's independent all-electric kitchen. This royal menu of course, offers choice charcoal broiled meats all prepared in sight of diners in a special Herculite glass - encased charcoal broiler.
But equally as impressive as the discriminating "Top O' the Royal" menu, is the elegance of the setting. Underneath a superb antique French clock you sit on Louis XIV gold and white furni- • [• ture. The entire top floor of the
Royal Towers reflects the same luxurious decor.
The Dining Room carpet is luscious red and the walls are covered witlrslmported gold and white flocked Fleur-de-Lis wallpaper. Antique mirrors line much of one wall opposite the massive glass slanted windows which overlook the swimming pool and sun decks below.
Here, too, every detail has been carefully planned for dis-rincVon. Imported Irish linen tablecloths and real silver g.re used. In fact, stainless steel is not in service in any of the Hotel's many eating facilities.
Six days a week it is possible to dine with a view from the elegant "Top" during the twilight and evening hours from five until midnight. One late evening special on the scarlet menu heralds wonderful Baron of Beef on garlic bread served with salad and beverage.
And have you ever tasted Diablo It's one of the special coffees of the house and is prepared with liqueur.
