B.I. plans youth services at Centre
Special Youth Service for the High Holy Days will be conducted by Congregation Beth Israel at the Centre on both days
of Rosh Hashona at 10 a.m., September 29 and 30.
Children from the 1st to 3rd
Orades will conduct their services in the Banquet hall, under the supervision of Maury Roth-stein. Children from the 4th t'
7th Grades will attend their service in the Lodge hall, where Barry Sherman will be in charge.
The Services are open to all Jewish children of the comijaun-ity, who are cordially invited to attend.

HABONIM
HABONIM: Sunday there will be a J.N.F. drive at 9:30 a.m. at the Centre. Breakfast will be served before you go out collecting. All chaverim are requested to bring their lunch as activities will be held at 2 p.m. All members who cannot come out to the drive are requested to come out to activities at 2 p.m. at the Centre. Those coming to the drive are asked to please bring parents along with their cp.rs to provide transportation. All members are urged to bring down their friends to join Hab-onim this Sunday. A gigantic membership drive is now underway for members from 10-16 years.

U.S.Y. next regular meeting will take place Sunday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Bialik room of the Beth Israel synagogue. A special "Israeli Night" program has been arranged. Sheila Balshine and Marsha White, who visited Israel this summer on the U.S.Y. Israel Pilgrimp.ge, will show slides and report on their experiences. This evening there will be a kumsitz at the home of Rochelle Margolis, 6964 Fremlin. All university students are invited to attend. All those needing transportation are reauested to call Art, TR 4-2793.
Tuesday, Sept. 25, will m.ark the first meeting of the university year. The meeting will take place at noon in Hillel House. A report on the recent convention will be given. Following the report elections for the forthcoming year will be held. All new members welcome.
S.Z.O. plans kumsitz
Student Zionist Organization of U.B.C. plans a unique kumsitz at the home of Rochelle Margolis, 6964 Fremlin this evening. Featured on the program is folk singing and a dramatic presentation put on by S.Z.O. members pertaining to the recent outbreak of Fascist activity in the United States.
Refreshments will be served and all University students are invited to attend. Those needing transportation are requested to phone Art Dodek, TR 4-2793. .
This Tuesday at noon a report on convention and elections will take place for the forthcoming year. The meeting is open to all new members and will take place in the Seminar room at Hillel.

The members of Habonim are once again selling Rosh Hashona cards. A limited amount of these Israeli cards have been brought in and are available by phoning RE 1-8687 for Free Delivery.
All proceeds go to further Habonim activities.
