Pioneer residents, Mr. and Mrs. Kemp have lived in Vancouver for 43 years. Mrs. Kemp is a past president in B'nai B'nai, of the Jewish Home for the Aged and of Schara Tze-deck synagogue.

Andrea Rosen leaves on Aliyah to Israel
Andrea Rosen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rosen, left last week to settle in Israel.
She has been a member of Habonim for the last 10 years, holding numerous leadership positions in the organization. She was active, as well as one cf the famed Habonim dance I group and worked as a counsellor at both Camp Miriam and the Jewish Community Centre .Day Camp.
Miss Rosen's future plans include studying at an Ulpan during her first six months in Israel. Upon completion of her Ulpan studies, she intends to study physical education.

A candlelight ceremony was held at Schara Tzedeck synagogue on May 28 when Judith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Toban, became the bride of Mr. Joel Groberman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Groberman.
Rabbi Bernard Goldenberg officiated at the marriage assisted by Reverend W. Shuster.
The bride wore a gown of white delustred satin fashioned with bateau neckline and bouffant skirt featuring a cathedral

train. Imported French Alencon lace was appliqued at the neckline and around the bottom hemline. Her head-dress was of finest silk illusion bouffant veiling caught up with a coronet of white pearled flowers. She carried an old-fashioned shower bouquet of gardenias and lily-of-the-valley.
Mrs. Howard Toban, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron-of-honor, and bridesmaids were Misses: Margaret Segal, Lois Segal and Norma Smith, cousins of the bride, and Marcia Kahn, Carol Wies and Marilyn Zack.
The attendants wore poie-de-soie electric blue dresses fashioned with scooped necklines, fitted bodices and full skirts featuring matching roses at the back waistlines. Their head-dresses were matching poie-de-soie pillbox bands with bows at the back and brief bouffant veils. They carried bouquets of marguerites and lily-of-the-valley.
Herbert Groberman, brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Messers Howard Toban and Martin Toban, brothers of the bride, Steve Groberman, brother of the groom, and Myron Golden. Alan' Goldsmith, Danny Goldsmith and Gordon Bell.
Following the ceremony a reception and dance was held at the Richmond Golf and Country club. Alan Segal, uncle of the bride, proposed the toast to the bride.
For her going-away ensemble, the bride chose a white sheath with matching three-quarter coachman's coat and white accessories. I
