TORCHLIGHT PARADE ALL YOUTH are invited to participate in the annual Chan-uka Torchlight Parade tomorrow, Dec. 5, at 6:45 p.m., leaving from 45th and Cambie to the Jewish Community Centre. Everyone who wishes to par-tidpate, including parents with cars, are requested to be at 45th and Cambie at 6 p.m. The parade will be led by the Vancouver Police department and will follow a direct route to the Jewish Community Centre. A gigantic celebration will follow in the Centre.
B.B.Y.O. A.Z.A. 119 election meeting will be held Sunday, Dec. 6, at the Centre. All positions are up for election. Anyone who wishes to make a speech please call Paul Chertkow, AM 6-9542. Everyone is asked to attend.

U.S.Y. U.S.Y. next general meeting will be held Sunday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m., in the Bialik room. Bellingham chapter of U.S.Y. will be guests. Special speaker will be Professor Andre, direct from Paris to U.S.Y., with interesting talk
and films. Members are also reminded to bring paint, paper, pastels, etc., in order to make National Convention posters after the meeting.
YOUNG JUDAEA YOUNG JUDAEA members will take part in the Youth Chanuka Torchlight Parade on Saturday, Dec. 5, and are reminded to turn out with parents to assist in the motorcade.

Prizes —- costumes — awards —clowns and lots of fun-r-will highlight this Sunday's first gala Maccabiah and Third Annual Swim Meet and Diving Competition at the Centre. The program gets underway at 1:30 p.m. and all members of the community are invited to attend.
Some 200 children^ are participating in the afternoon program which will feature relays, races and fun games in the gymnasium. At 3:30 p.m. festivities will move to the Pool for a special swimming and diving competition.

drigihaHy froin Hungary. Mr. Heti came to Vancouver Tn January, 1957, as a refugee. He; was an artist, and taught high school at Delta, B.C. .A'Heis survived by his wife, Eva; and two sons, Michael arid Gabor.
Funeral services were held Nov. 22 and interment took place at Schara Tzedeck cemetery. Chevra Kadisha were in charge of funeral arrangements.
B.I. marks sixth night of Chanuka
Services for Sabbath and the sixth night of Chanuka will begin at 8:15 p.m. tonight at Congregation Beth Israel Six bright candles will be burning in the beautiful men-orah presented to the synagogue by Sisterhood and dedicated last year to the memory of Bella Koch.
The service will include special renditions by the Can-tor and Choir in honor of the festival of Chanuka. Children of the Religious school who have celebrated their birthdays from the beginning of the school term till now will be recognized from the pulpit and receive blessing from the Congregation. Chanuka will be celebrated this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the A^iditorium with a special Chanuka party for children aged 3, 4 and 5. The party is being sponsored by the Pre- -School Comniittee.
