Centre members in good standing, 21 years of age and over, are entitled to vote at the annual meeting. With respect to family memberships, both the husband and wife are entitled to vote.
Mr. Jackson points out that mem.bership renewals must be made prior to the meeting. Any member who is not in good standing, (whose membership expired January 1, 1965, and has not yet renewed this membership) will not be allowed to vote. Renewals will be taken at the door prior to the meeting.
A controversial amendment to the constitution has been proposed and will be voted upon at the annual meeting. The amendment is as follows:
"Any contributor who has pledged $100 or more and has paid 50 per cent or more of such pledge shall have the same rights as a member in good standing with respect to:
(a) All information, both financial and otherwise, relative to the operation of the Centre;
(b) the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting."
Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of proceedings.

Pioneer Women Bazaar executive under the leadership of Mrs. L. Hammer, together with all Pioneer Women members, are now in high gear preparing for the mammoth Annual Bazaar to be held at Wosk auditorium on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 9, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Mrs. L. Hammer is extending a cordial invitation to the Community to "honor Mother on Mother's Day, May 9, by taking her to the Bazaar for a delicious gourmet dinner, cooked by the now famous Pioneer Women 'baalebostes' at the same time," Mrs. Hammer continued, "delicious Home Baking, and bargains will be available. And what better way to honor Mother in Vancouver when, at the same time, mothers and children and youth in Israel are being helped to become integrated citizens through the proceeds of this Bazaar.
Moetzot Hapoalot, Pioneer Women's sister organization in Israel, for this purpose operates close to 900 institutions in Israel. Pioneer Women have a commitment to continue this work. It has been stressed that support of this Bazaar indicates determination that Israeli mothers and children are given the opportunity for a wholesome and secure life. ,

Thirty-eighth Annual Banquet and installation of officers of Vancouver Achdiith Co-Operative Society will be held Sunday, May 2, 6 p.m. at the Talmud Torah auditorium.
Chairnjan of the evening will be Irving Becker. Lou Zimmerman and Sam Shine will act as installing and assistant installing officers. Mr. Shine is permanent honorary president. Sam Shine and Abe Wosk are the only remaining charter members in Vancouver.
Elected officers to be installed for the Society's 1965 term are: president, E. Y. Hammer; vice-president, J. Stusser; treasurer, I. Becker; trustees and members of executive board, M. Rozen, A. Lesk, J. Lawrence, S. Epstein, B. Panar, H. Pelman.
The community and all m.embers and their wives are invited to attend and enjoy a social evening to follow the installation. A Kosher Plate will be served at $1.25 per person.
Bill Weinstein, president of Habpnim Zionist Society, has announced appointment o f three prominent community leaders to Camp Miriam health committee. They are, the Honorable David Barrett, M.L.A., centre executive director; Miss Dorothy Brown, Centre program supervisor and chairman of the camp committee; and Dr. Mike Wolochow.
Dr. Wolochow will be advising the camp committee and the camp's nurse on matters

In making the announcement Mr. Weinstein noted the camp has received a straight **A" rating from the Provincial department of health. It has a fully equipped infirmary with a trained nurse constantly on the premises and a doctor on call. Mr. Weinstein pointed out that the newly formed health committee of the camp will ensure maintainence of highest standards of health and safety.
Heaviest enrollment in the camp's 17 year history has an unprecedented r e g i s t r ation from Victoria, Seattle and Calgary together with a large city registration. As a result camp officials will be able to guaran-tee space in the desired period •only until May 15. Camp officials have issued the following statement to The Bulletin regarding program and fees: "Camp Miriam offers a fine Jewish camping program on a magnificient site in the Gulf Islands. Camp facilities are designed to give a rich camping experience in the great outdoors, modelled in the spirit of Israeli kibbutzim. Camp Miriam creates an atmosphere in which the child experiences the joys of living and playing cooperatively while learning about his rich Jewish heritage."
