Sidney Zack, Regional president of the Zionist Organization of Canada, has announced appointment of Nat Bent as assistant director of the Pacific Re-;gion. His duties will cover all phases of Zionist work including aspects of the U.J.A;.. Gampaign, J.N.F. and Camp Hatikvah.
Mr. Bent, a native of Vancouver, is a graduate of U.B.C., where

he received his bachelor of physical education degree, specializing in recreation administration. Prior to his appointment he served with the Coquitlam Municipal Recreation Department as program supervisor.
Mr. Bent has also worked for the Vancouver and Seattle Jewish Community Centres and the B'nai B'rith organization. He served in various administration capacities with these organizations, particularly in the field of Jewish camping.
He is the son of Mrs. Sam Ritt-berg.
and one of world Jewery's outstanding spokesmen.
A delicious and tasty meal is being meticulously arranged for by the catering committee. A very large turnout is anticipated and dress at the head table will be formal.
Funds raised at the dinner will establish a Vancouver Scholarship Fund at Yeshiva University which will enable Vancouver students to attend high school, university, graduate school, or the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, on a scholarship basis, providing that their scholastic achievements meet the requirements of the University.
Presently, three Vancouverites are studying at Yeshiva University Schools through full scholarships: Howard Levy, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Levy, studying at
Yeshiva University high school at Los Angeles; Michael Leibo-witz, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Leib-owitz, studying at Yeshiva UniT versity high school at Manhattan;
and Vivian Garber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Garber, studying at Yeshiva University Stern College for Women.
