Canadian Histadrut Campaign seeks support for those Histadrut institutions which render essential welfare and educational services to Israel's population and which help guarantee the continued progress of Israel's modern society.
AMAL TRAINING SCHOOL
The Israeli-born hero of the War of Liberation, Yigal Allon, Israel's Minister of Labor, had this to say in a speech:
"While Histadrut is not the only organization active in Israel, it provides the Nation with its backbone and its social foim-
dation. By helping Histadrut raise the money for its many programs and actions of social progress, you are helping the very basis of Israel's modern life. As long as Jewish solidarity exists, the existence of Israel will be assured."
