Stephen Gelmon is Bar-Mitzvah at B.I.
Stephen Albert, son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Gelmon, will become a Bar-Mitzvah during Sabbath morning service at Congregation Beth Israel, tomorrow, Saturday, May 6 . The service commences at 9:15 a.m. Kiddush following will be tendered by Dr. and Mrs Gelmon in honor of their son Oneg Shabbat Friday night wil be given by Mr. and Mrs. L. Lar-arus of Portland and Mrs. Jack Gelmon of Winnipeg, in honor of their grandson.
Frances Charkow Cohen weds May 28 in East
Mr. and Mrs. Abram Charkow annoimce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Frances Eleanor Cohen, to Mr. Reuben H. CroU of Montreal, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Abraham CroU. The ceremony has been arranged to take place on May 28 in the Chev-ra Kadisha B'Nai Jacob synagogue in Montreal.

A skit and fashion show will highlight B'nai B'rith Girls annual Mothers* Day tea. The event has been slated on Sunday, May 14, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Peretz school auditorium.
Chairman of the tea, Jackie Goldberg, said this week, "As this tea has been a great success in the past, we urge everyone to attend this enjoyable afternoon."
