On Monday, Nov. 6, Golden Age club heard an interesting and informative talk by lawyer, Sam Huberman. He directed his talk mainly to the legal problems of senior citizens.
A highlight of the meeting was also a birthday celebration in honor of Mr. M. Simcoff on his 80th birthday. Mr. M. Simcoff is a retired CNR employee ar?d a formerly active Unionist. He is one of the Golden Age delegates to the Federated Legislative Council of Elder Citizens.
Other excellent programs have been planned for the remainder of the month. Cantor Murray Nixon of Beth Israel Congregation has consented to sing for the club and will also prepare its members in a Chanuka repertoire.
Golden Age Drama Club is reported hard at work as well, preparing a one act satire called, "The executive meeting". It has an outstanding cast and the humor in the script is said to be rapidly rising to the stature of Sholem Aleichem.
L. Zinunerman, 1149 West 27th Ave., 8:30 p.m. Gary Lepkin will show his slides taken in Israel while serving as a volunteer during the Six Day War.

MBS. A. FREEMAN who has graciously consented to head the ladies committee that will convene the forthcoming concert of the Vancouver Jewish Community String Orchestra. The first concert of the 1967-68 season will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, at 8:15 pjn. in the Centre auditorium. Italy acclaims Kaye and Gadna

Press reports emanating from Europe indicate that the Danny Kaye-Gadna Orchestra Concert staged this week in Rome and Milan were outstanding successes and played to capacity audiences.
The group, imder direction of Danny Kaye, will appear in Vancouver on Nov, 16 at Queen Elizabeth theatre.
Mrs. Ted Cohen, chairman of the Vancouver Committee, has informed The Bulletin that the Vancouver appearance is not just a symphony concert, but that Mr. Kaye will also present the humorous type of program for which he has become world-renowned.
A few good tickets are still available for the concert, at the Ticket Centre, Queen Elizabeth theatre.
Young Adults hold girl asks boy dance
J.C.C. Young Adults will hold a Sadie Hawkins Dance this Saturday evening in room 100 at the Centre, 9 p.ni. It is not necessarjr to bring an escort, but yoiing ladies will have the perogative 6f asking yoimg men to dance during the evening.
Feature entertainment will be Hebrew folksinging by Pat Her-non, accompanied by John on the bass viol. Everyone 20 years old and over will be welcome to participate.
