"The Warsaw Ghetto Committee has made every effort to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising with a memorable and interesting program," stated Mrs. I. Waldman, committee chairman.
The date should be regarded as a day of commemoration and no social functions should be arranged for that evening by any organizations or synagogues," she further stated.
The Anniversary will be observed this year on Sunday, April 21, with a program commencing 8 p.m. at the Centre auditorium.
Dramatic highlight will be presentation of the play, "I Never Saw Another Butterfly", directed by Miss Dorothy Davies, and featuring Gerry Claman, . Claire Klein and Oscar Osipov. Permission for this presentation was granted by National Women's League, United Synagogue of America.
