Enlargement of an exchange program imder which Israeli professional youth and Centre workers are employed by American Centres and Ys for a two-year period to help strengthen and enrich Jewish programming in American Centres and to secure experiences which will enable the workers to perform their jobs more effectively when they return to Israel. There are now 16 Israelis working in American Centres, Mr. Solender said, and the goal is to have 10 additional exchange workers come to the United States in September, 1968.

5. A four - pronged expansion of programs for training American and Israeli Centre workers for increased effectiveness in their jobs.
With respect to training Americans for Centre work in Israel, Mr. Solender stated that the five-week seminar program for professional communal workers conducted by JWB and other national Jewish organizations in cooperation with the Institute for Contemporary Jewry of the Hebrew University .will be expanded in 1968.

A two-month training program for directors of j^erica Jewish camps was held in Israel during October and November.
In the/training of Israeli Jewish Community Centre workers, Mr. Solender reported that JWB is cooperating with the Paul Baer-wald School of Social Work at the Hebrew University in the development of its group work program. JWB is also aiding a new training curriculum, for Jewish Commimity Centre workers, sponsored by Israel's Ministry of Education at Bet Ruten-berg in Haifa.

On June 25, Annabelle Alex-andor of Victoria, widow of the late Isaac Alexander, passed away in her 74th year.
Mrs. Alexander received a pin in 1966 from Victoria Hadassah denoting 40 consecutive years of service to Hadassah. She was a charter member of the Victoria Chapter and a past president. She was also an active member, and past president of B'nal B'rith Women.
She is survived by her son Harold, of West Vancouver; also three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
