Abdullah lives in a beiautiful house in Ramallah (Is-;rael) cind holds a permanent pass permitting him to cross into Jordan which he does about three .times per week. After the June 'War, when Kol Israel was looking for Arab personnel, they ap-;pr6ached Abdullah to read from ;the Koran over the Arabic waveband of Kol Israel as this is what he was well-known for in Jordan. THE SIXTH CONGRESS of
Fertility and Sterility has just taken place in Israel, and it has only now been discovered why the congress was held this time in Israel. Three years ago in Stockholm during the Fifth Congress^ two venues were put forward for the Sixth congress-Tel Aviv and Mexico City. The vote was 17 to 17. So they had to put it to the vote again. This time the coimt read 18 to 16 in favor of Tel Aviv. The one who had changed was a Lebanese woman doctor who when interviewed later on said that she hoped that by the time 1968 came around, the Middle East would be at peace and it would be much easier for her to go to Tel Aviv than to Mexico City. "As a matter of fact," she added, "I could drive there in my own car, it would only take about three hours from Beirut."
A YEAR HAS PASSED since the Six-Day War and many changes have been wrought. One of these changes-concerns a well-known Israeli pharmaceutical firm which exports to all comers of the earth. It was requested by its agents in many countries to enlarge the lettering "Made in Israel" on each bottle or box! Israeli goods are sought after everywhere.

THE ITALIAN CIRCUS "Coliseum" performed in Tel Aviv for over a month. On the morning of their departure for Beersheba to give some performances there, one of their lionesses gave birth to a big, healthy cub. The owners looked at the beautiful little bundle of fluff and decided to name it—-Bar-Lev, after Israel's present chief of staff, Brig. General Haim Bar-Lev.
