The Ben-Harush family is the biggest in Israel and when Mr. Ben-Gur^ ioii discovered that the father is only a temporary worker at the Israel Electric Corporation, he intervened personally and was granted a* permanent job for Mr. Ben-Harush at the Corporation. As a temporary worker Mi. Ben-iHarush had been earning only $4.50 basic pay per day. • * *
REV. SHAMITZU TOJONO-MIYO, a Japanese priest, is a member of the Shito sect. He stated on his arrival in Israel that most of Japan's population descends from the Lost Ten Tribes. The Reverend has come to Israel to further spiritual relations between his 10 tribes and the other twc tribes (in Israel). Rev. Tojonomiyo told us that a year ago he had had ah uplifting religious experience when he discovered an ancient jar containing, he claims, some manna which the children of Israel ate in the wilderness. While examining the contents of this jar, he says he heard a voice cut of nowhere ordering him to go to Israel. They drew lots as to who would go, and his wife won. She came to Jerus-
alem soon after the Six-Day War. This year, he himself has come.

Eli ARISH HOSPITAL, abandoned by its Egyptian staff during the Six-Day War, has been "adopted" by Tel Hashomer hospital near Tel Aviv. So far Tel Hashomer has sent four Israeli doctors, four male niu'ses and six administrative staff to aid the sole El Arish doctor who has been struggling to keep the hospital going. Besides the above permanent team, who will remain at the hospital for at least six months, a specialist will travel there once a week. The hospital has only 50 beds but is expected to serve 40,000 persons. Israel's Health Ministry is now providing new equipment.

ABDUL FATAH AHMED ABU DAHOOK, 19^ and a nurse to look after him, were flown by El Al Israel National Airlines to Frankfurt, Germany, so that Dahook can get specialized treatment there. Dahook is an East Jerusalem Arab wounded in the Six-Day War and lying paralyzed for over a year now in St. Joseph hospital. East Jerusalem. But Magen David Adorn, with approval of Israel's Foreign Ministry, arranged Dahook's transfer to Frankfurt, took him to the airport in an ambulance, carried him onto the plane in a stretcher. Then El Al took over bringing him to Frankfurt at a 90% reduction on his ticket.

Drop leafiets over Amman
TEL AVIV—A paper shower of leaflets was dropped by Israeli aircraft over Amman and other Jordanian towns warning terrorists to desist from warfare and urging civilian populations to refuse co-operation with guerrilla bands. Pointedly stating they could easily have been bombs, the leaflets warned that 400 guerrillas have been killed by Israeli forces since June, 1967.
Jordanian civilians were told in the leaflets that saboteurs had taken refuge in their midst because the people of the West Bank now refused to co-operate with them.
