David Bogoeh to be Bar-Mitzvah at B.l.
David Mathew, son of Dr. and Mrs. Abraham Bogoch, will be called to the Torah as a Bar-Mitzvah during Sabbath morning service at Congregation Beth Israel tomorrow, Oct. 12, commencing 9:15 a.m. A Kiddush will be tendered by Dr. and Mrs. Bogoch at conclusion of the service in honor of their son's Bar-Mitzvah, The Kiddush will begin in the Succah and continue in the auditorium. Following Friday night service tonight an Oneg Shabbat V'Yom Tov in the synagogue Succah will be tendered by the celebrant's parents.

Concluding days of the joyous Succot holiday climaxed by the celebration of Simchat Torah and Hakofot on the last day, will be ushered in at Schara Tzedeck synagogue with a Succot Shemini Atzereth service on Sunday, Oct. 13, 6:15 p.m.
Morning services on Shemini Atzeret, Monday, Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. with Yiskor Memorial services at 10:30 a.m. Rabbi Marvin Hier will officiate and preach the sermon, and Cantor Moshe Preis will chant at the service.
A Kiddush will be served in

Friday night service at Congregation Beth Israel will commence at 8:15 p.m. with Rabbi Wilfred Solomon officiating and Cantor Murray Nixon chanting the liturgy. At conclusion of the service an Oneg Shabbat V-Yom Tov will be held in the Succa, tendered by Dr. and Mrs. A. Bogoch, in honor of their son's Bar-Mitzvah.
During morning service tomorrow, Oct. 12, David Mathew, son of Dr. and Mrs. Abraham Bogoch, will be called to the Torah as a Bar-Mitzvah. The service commences at 9:15 a.m. with Rabbi Solomon and Cantor Nixon officiating, assisted by the Beth Israel Choir.
The Bar-Mitzvah will chant the Shacharit service, the entire Torah portion from both scrolls and the Haftorah.
A Kiddush will be tendered by Dr. and Mrs. Bogoch in honor of their son. It will begin in the Succah and continue in the auditorium.

Morning services on Hashana Rabah (the day before Shemini Atzeret) wi)l be held Sunday, Oct. 13, at 8 a.m.
The traditional Simchat Torah party for children and Hakofot, will take place Oct. 14, at 6:10 p.m. Children will receive flags, apples, candies and other goodies. The older children will march in the procession with the Torahs. All children will join in the Torah procession and sing and dance along with the entire Congregation, to impart a spirit of youthful vigor to the celebration at Simchat Torah.
Morning services on Simchat Torah, Tuesday morning, Oct. 15, will begin at 9 a.m.
