Now this could also be an opportunity for others with some Hebrew to go down on Monday nights, 7:30 p.m., register and join the class. . . It's amazing how many personal calls consistently come in every month to the Boss for books on how to learn Hebrew. . . UJA Sabbath this
Weekend at all synagogues.

Report grave hospital bed shortage in Israel
TEL AVIV—Sharply castigating the Israel government for neglecting the country's hospitals, the leaclLng journal pf the labor mov-enient,' "Davar" calls attention to the fact that thousands of aged and impoverished people cannot obtain the required services in a hospital or clinic. In many cases no
hospital beds are available even when it is a matter of life or death.
Why is there money, asks "Davar" for ■ yacatioij .cejntres^ many of which are subsidized by voluntary contributions from a-broad, while at the same time there is a lack of funds for these essential medical facilities?

It's not too late. And it's the kind of thought that is equally beneficial late than never at all. . . Call Betty Nitkin, 266-0783, because the Vancouver Soviet Jewry Action Committee still has about 30 packages (at a dollar for five cards) of Passover greeting cards to be sent to
Soviet Jews.

Would you believe that only two weeks from today you'll be receiving (Im Yirtzeh HaShem) your Israel Anniversary edition? The midnight oil continues to be burned wearily to produce it in record time because the actual Yom HaAtzmaut begins Thursday evening, April 29 and April 30
