to Israel Brunch on Aug. 23.

Home-grown talent returns. When Ken Levitt took over as
director of the JFSA this month, he made good a statement he once made when he got his first community job with Centre Day Camp in the days when its overseer was young Lou Hiiford. Said Levitt iat that time: "One of these days I'm going to work for the Jewish Family Service Agency!" (P.S. Hiiford is another home-grown talent that returned last year to
become FZOC-UJA director here).

Are your children registered for the fall term in one of our community's Jewish schools? If not now — when? Jewish education is one door through which they can either enter Judaism or reinforce the Jewishness they hojpiefully are getting at home, where it all begins.

Last Sunday's 'Cabaret' at the
Centre was nothing short of an overwhelming success. By conservative estimates, 300 newcomers, singles, et al jam-packed the Centre's courtyard and two adjoining rooms to 'kibbitz', sing and dance folk-songs. It was completely 'frelach'. Accolades to all the organizers.
