CHAIRiyiAN'S MESSAGE
As Charrmdn of this year's Israel Bond Campaign I wish to thank the canvassers and all those persons who have purchased and will purchase lira^l Bonds this year
The year just ending was witness to events which highlighted an awareness of the critical internal and external problems still facing Israel after 25 years of heroic survival and extra achievements in its growth and development. Above all, in 1972 we saw the fulfillment of Israel's role as . a haven and home for many hundreds of thousands of Jewish immigrants, especially our brethren in Russia.
Internal peace-—as well as peace with its neighbors—is vitol to Israel's future. ■ '^
You Olid 1 oo#redu^ and eliminote threats t^ by purchasing Israel Bonds. I know of no better wdy to solve the hatibn's many pressing internal problems—including the most vital difficulty of speedy immigrant absorption, with empjiosis on Soviet immigrants—then through our wholehearted purchase of Israel Boiids.
The^eyes of the world are on us in the role we will play in the 1973 Israel Bond Campaign. An expression of solidarity with Israel—through our purchase of Israel Bonds—will show to the world our determination for a strong Israel.
Israel's needs this yeor are greater than ever before and consequently our campaign goal this year is much larger than in previous years. We ore counting on you to help us reach this goal during our Campoign.
Af4y Vice-Chairmen and I join with our families in wishing each person in the community a very healthy, happy and peaceful New Year.
