The problems of poverty, education, youth, and the aged are very real to us when we see them in our own communities. We must answer this call for help. But for us there can be no geographical boundaries when it comes to a fellow Jew in need. We must also respond to the call of the new immigrants to Israel ... those courageous, determined Jews who are removed from us only by distance.
70,000 immigrants will
Once For Tour Commimity
come to Israel this year. Many have given up everything for the opportunity to live as Jews among their brethren. Their needs for housing, education, health care and
job retraining ore our responsibility. A responsibility we accept proudly. A tribute to the heritage we, as Jews, claim as our own.
We keep the promise when we help build Jewish lives here at home... and in Israel... wherever a Jew is in need.
