Eliza Judith Rosen will chant the Haftorah for her Bat-Mitzvah during Sabbath morhihg services at the Richmond Inn on Dec. 20, 9:30 a.m. Luncheon following the services will be tendered in their daughter's honor by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Rosen.
Services will be officiated by Chaim Kornfeld. The Bat-Mitzvah celebrant was prepared by David Rubin. ^
Out-of-town guests will include grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Frank Zebbeman from Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as family from HalifaCx, Montreal, Ottawa, Seattle and Tacoma.

The Bar-Mitzvah of Ralph, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Guttman, will take place during services at Temple Sholom on Friday, Dec. 19, 8:15 p.m. in the Temple sanctuary, 4426 West 10th Ave.
The Temple Choir, under direction of Elizabeth Wolak, will be assisting Rabbi Harold Rubens who will officiate at services.

Friday night services at Congregation Beth Israel Dec. 19 and Dec. 26 will begin at 8:15 p.m., with Rabbi Wilfred Solomon and Hazzan Murray Nixon officiating, assisted by Beth Israel Choir. Oneg Shabbat following will be hosted by Sisterhood.

On Dec. 20 Dave Fogell will chant the Haftorah and David Rubin will be the Torah reader. Bert Smollan serves as Parnass. At the conclusion of the Dec. 20 service, a Kiddush will be hosted by Mr. and Mrs. D. Fogell.
The El Am Talmud group will meet with Rabbi Solomon on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 11:30 a.m.

The synagogue young adult Minyan convenes Sunday mornings in the school Beth Medrish at 10:15 a.m. followed by a light breakfast.

WASHINGTON—A new publication, "Careers for Jewish Young Adults in Israel," has been published by B'nai B'rith to provide detailed information on conditions in Israel for American Jews contemplating aliya. The new guide provides information on various career fields in Israel, including the helping professions, science-related fields and such professions as police work, library work and engineering. The publication also offers practical information on life in Israel and how to conduct a successful job search there. The book lists additional information sources, including Israel aliya centres in the U.S. and Canada, B'nai B'rith career counseling field offices, Jewish vocational service agancies, and other job agencies • nnder Jewish auspices.

In announcing her winter Sunday Youth Program, Centre coordinator Gert Snider has indicated that she is expecting a busy day on Jan. 4. Her estimate is based on the large attendance during the Fall Session and the many inquiries already received regarding the hew winter schedule.
Mrs. Snider went on to list the new courses which will be offered this coming session, such as Model Kit building, guitar lessons and drama.
Due to many requests, magic classes will again be offered.
TOWNS TWINNEO
BONN — The West German Rhine town of Andemach, near Bonn, the capital, has been "twinned" with the Negev development town of Dimona in Israel. A delegation from Andernach returned from a visit to Dimona where they signed the "twinning" agreement. Dimona's town council was invited to send a delegation for a reciprocal visit to Andernach in May. JCNS
Other popular courses being continued from the previous session include puppetry, cooking, multi-crafts, acrobatics, trampoline, woodcrafts, folk dance, bowling and Judo. *
' "As always, course standards will be high, with well qualified instructors considered experts in their fields," Mrs. Snider said.
Early registration has been recommended as there is limited enrollment and courses fill up quickly.
