Members of Temple Youth groups from Pacific Northwest Congregations will attend a regional Succaton in Vancouver the weekend of Oct. 13-15. They will construct the Succa and conduct Succot services in it.

services announced by Schara Tzedeck
Congregation Schara Tzedeck will usher in Shabbat tomorrow Friday, Oct. 13 with services at 6:10 p.m. in the main sanctuary chanted by Cantor Preis. Candle-lighting time is 6:07 p:m.
Services Saturday morning begin at 9 a.m. with Rabbi B. Zaichyk officiating. Cantor Preis conducting the services and Gamliel Aharon, spiritual leader of the. Sephardic Congregation, reading the Torah.
At 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Rabbi Zaichyk will teach his class in Rambam. The shiur is open to all men, women and youth: Mincha isat 6:1 ^ p.m.; followed by Sholosh Seudos and Maariv. Rev. Shuster will recite Havdallah at 7;15 p.m.
Sunday morning services are at 8:30 a.m., followed by breakfast. Rabbi Zaichyk will teach his class in
"Pirkei Avot"(Ethics of our Fathers) at this time.

BJ. CELEBRATES SUCCOT FESTIVAL
Congregation Beth Israel will ^ celebrate Succot, the Jewish festival of thanksgiving, beginning with Mincha this Sunday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. and Maariv at 6:20 p.m. Kiddush will be recited in the succa.
The morning service Monday, Oct. 16 begins at 9 a.m; Hazzan Murray Nixon will chant melodies of the Hallel - service and the ceremony of taking the. Etrog and Lulav. Sets of Etrog and Lulav are available for the use of worshippers, so that they may participate in the: Hoshanot procession during the
week of Succot. Following the service, treats will be served in the succa.
The evening service begins with Mincha at 6 p.m. and Maariv at 6:20 p.m. and again concludes with the^ recitation of Kiddush in the succa.
Service for the second day of Yom Tov, Tuesday, Oct. 17, begins at 9 a.m. V
A special youth service will be held on both days of Succotin the Chapel at 10 a.in. Following this, refreshments will be served in the succa.
As in the past, the Succa will be set up by. members of the Men^s.club, and in addition to the traditional branches and fruits, will be< decorated with art work by . students of the religious school.
S. T. Richmond slates services
Schara Tzedeck Richmond holds services at 5071 Woodwards Rd. Friday, Oct. 13. Service begins at 8 p.m. and concludes with an Oneg Shabbat. On Shabbat morning Oct. 14, the service commences at 9 a.m. During the services there will be a short discussion of the Torah reading of the week. A kiddush follows. All services are *family-oriented.'

SEPHARDIC AT S.T.
Shabbat services for Sephardic congregants are being held jointly with Congregation Schara Tzedeck. Beth Hamidrash synagogue is presently under reconstruction. Kabbalat Shabbat services at Schara Tzedeck begin at 6:10 p;m on Friday, Oct. 1^ with Saturday morning services at 9 a.m.
Congregants will also join Schara Tzedeck for Succot services Oct. 16 and 17 at 9 a.m. and 6:15 p.m.
PLANNING Wednesday, Oct. 18 Talmud Torah Brunch are, left to right, Maja Mindell, Sylvia Cristall and Sheryl Wosfc. The event isislated for 11:30 a.ni. to 2:30 p.in., at the home of Sylvia and Lorne Cristall, 1070 W. 55th avenue. The Brunch — which will feature door-prizes, a home-baking sale, a rafifle and a gift bazaar »is open to the community.
BURQUEST PLANS SUCCOT SERVICE
The Burquest Hebrew School together with the Burquest Jewish Community Association, has invited members, their families of all ages and interested area guests, to attend a Succot service.
The event takes place Sunday,. Oct. 15 at the home of Shirley and Bill Gluck, 13342-112A avenue, Surrey. The service, commencing 1 p.m., will be conducted under the grape arbor, weather permitting.
Approximately 75 adults and children attended the Burquest community pot-luck dinner, followed by an Oneg Shabbat service, held at Queen's Park in New Westminster on Sept. 8.
The Burquest Jewish Community .Association and , Hebrew School serves Jewish residents in Coquit-1am, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey and North Delta. Newest members are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Huntley of Maple Ridge and their daughter, Shawna.
