Hillel director addresses T.S.
Rabbi ^Daniel Siegel. director of Hillel House at UBC, will be special guest speaker at Sabbath services at Temple Sholom tomorrow Friday, Feb. 13. Worship, which commences at 8:15 p.m., will be conducted by Rabbi Philip Bregman.
Sabbath morning services Saturday, Feb- 14 begin at 10:30 a.m.
A wine-and-cheese party for young adults of the Congregation, ages 18 to 23, will take place this Sunday, Feb. IS, 8 p.m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lando, 1234 Matthews avenue.
'Popular Demand' at singles dancf^f"
Jan Cooper's Popular Demand band will be featured performers at a Valentine's Ball sponsored by the Jewish Single Adult/ Parents Club. , The evening, open to all Jewish singles, is slated for this Saturday. Feb. 14. 8:30 pjn. to 2 a.m.. in the Sheraton-Plaza 500 hotel at 12th avenue and Cambie. There will be a bar and door-prizes.

Goldeners host Russian seniors
The Golden Age Club will host recently-arrived Russian Jewish seniors at a special afternoon this Monday. Feb. 16. 1:30 p.m. at the Centre. Refreshments will be served.
Travel consultant ArliiK Brisker will answer questions regarding the Club*s proposed trip to Hawaii at a meeting slated for Thursday. Feb. 26. II a.m.
The Club's regular weekly schedule continues: General meetings take place Mondays at 1:30 p.m.; square dancing is sbted for Tuesday. Habonim 'Neshef slated March 14
**Jewish Leaders** will theme Habonim's seventh annual Neshef production. slated for Saturday. March 14 at the Centre.
Spokesmen told The Bulletin that preparations for the evening are well underway. This year's event. Which includes a scene from Victoria Habonim. will be attended by representatives from Habonim*s head office in New York.
Orit Nettcr. treasurer of Habonim. urged full support for the Neshef. the only event undertaken by the organization for the entire Jewish community. Tickets, as well as arrangements for the placing of ads or greetings in the souvenir program to be distributed at the performance, may be made by calling the Habonim office at 266-5366.
T.S. Youth screens 'The Frisco Kid'

Temple Sholom Youth Group will present the acclaimed Jewish comedy. The Frisco Kid.- starring Gene Wilder and Harrison Ford, on Sunday. Feb. 22. 7:30 p.m. at Temple Sholom.
In extending a welcome to the entire community to attend, spokesmen noted that proceeds will go towards the T.S. Youth Group and the National Federation of Temple Youth Hunger Fund.

A special summer opportunity is being offered to both Israelis ages 14 to 17 who have been living for over two years in North America as well as Nojrth Americans who areiluent, in Hebrew. Newly-opened Hebrew-speaking Camp Artza in Israel will offer these yoimg people a summer of touring, sight-seeing, and tracing their roots in Israel.
Campers at Artza will be divided into groups of 40, according to age, each group guided by two speciaHy-tiained counsellors. Each week of the five-week program will find campers exploring a different area of the country and a different aspect of Israeli life.
During their week in Jerusalem, the groups will be joined by mem-ib»ers of the various youth movements in the city wha will tour with them. Visiting Israel Defense Forces bases, talking with servicemen and officers, participating in the high-school age <iadna programs, will be part of the second week at Camp Artza. Other activities on the Totem AZA calendar, include a skating party on Saturday. Feb. 21. with participants meeting at the Centre at 7 p.m.; and a meeting at the Centre at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Feb. 22. A special program evening is slated for Saturday. Feb. 28.
