One of Israers foremost military and geo-political analysts, Major General (Res.) Shlomo Gazit, will 'address the community Thurisday, Nov. 24, 8 p.m., at Faculty club, UBC campus.
Gazit, Israel's former military Chief of Intelligence and currently president of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, will discuss Lebanon, the U.S., Israel and Peace in the Middle East. Questions-and-answers follow.
The evening is co-sponsored by Vancouver Branch of Canadian Associates of Ben-Gurion University of the
Negev, and Congregation Beth Israel adult education committee. There is no charge nor will there be any solicitation for funds, spokesmen noted.
