Cook noodles 10 minutes in trailing water and then drain; Drain pineapple, .saying Juice. Coinbino, 1/2 cup crushed pineapple with 4 tablespoons Jirown aygarand set asido. Mix remainder of pineappia with Juice, brown augarvbeaten^sand margarine. Add noodles and mix. Pour pineappfe-augar mixture into well greased 3-quart ring moldor pan. Add noodles. Grate the apples and add tieaten egg yolks. Stir in maUa meal to which 1/4 tsp. salt has been added. Add grated rind and juice of lemon. Stir well before adding stiffly beaten egg whites. Add nuts or coconut. Bake in an ungreased spring form 30 mm. at 350 degrees or until nicely browned. Serve hot with lemon or orange sauce. Serves 8-10.
