TORONTO — A ne^ larship fund has been created in memory of late Jewish philanthropist, Bernard M. Bioomfield, who died Aug. 30. (JW'J?. Sept. 26, 1984.)
The fund will provide financial aid to Canadian stur dents accepted to attend post-secondary^ education institutions in hrael, a Canadian Jewish News article explained.
The Bernard M. Biloom-Held Scholarship Fund of the Hebrew Culture Organization' of Canada, education arm.of Canadian Zionist Federation, was established by Bloom-field's wife Neri, son Harry, daughter Evelyn and son-in-law Raphael Schachter, as a tribute tp his memory.
Those wishing to contribute to the Fund make checks payable and forward to Hebrew Culture organization of Canada, 1310 Greene Ave. Montreal, H3Z 2B2, earmarked for Bernard M. Bioomfield Scholarship Fund.
