Habcnim Vancouver,^the largest eizor (region) of-its kind, is in the midst of prepar-,ing forits annual presentation of Neshef^ a multi-media production involving songs, skits, and dances.
"What Neshef really is is our way of showing the Jewish community what we do in Habonim", , Michael Kiers-zenblat merekaz, eizor (regional director) told JWB.
This year's Neshef is based on the theme Knowledge Through The Ages and takes, place on Mar. 15 at the Jewish Community centre audito-i"iiim at 7:30 p.m.
To prepare for the event, ' rehearsals are taking . place . weekly at the Habonim/>flnr . (house) at 2070 West 44th avenue. As well,. Habonim will be having a neshef seminar at.Camp Miriam from Feb, 21 through 23. ,, The Vancouver chapter of Habonim is a Jewish Youth organization that serves the Vancouver and Victoria , communities. It provides edu-. cational and entertaining programs for children ages 9 to 16.

COHENE MSW, RSW, principal therapist at the local consultation firm of Cohene arid Associates, who specializes in . coui\sellihg- individuals and couples-experiencing the special emotional trauma associated with these problems.
Focus of the course titled Infertility and Miscarriage will be on identifying and understanding the feelings and issues which are the consequence of infertility conditions. Participants in the workshop will have an opportunity to discuss and practice varoius problem-solving techniques for coping with anxieties.
Susan Cohene works with individuals, couples, families ari J groups also conducts workshops and training sessions for professionals and the public.
She is a former faculty member of the University of Iowa and has worked as a psychiatric social worker on the children's team of Bur-naby Mental Health and prior to that as a Family Service Worker in Toronto. Cohene is the mother of both adopted and natural children.

USY will hold a Family Lasagne Dinner and evening at the Beth Israel synagogue on Sunday, Mar. 2, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds from this annual event will go to Tikun Olam which supports projects around the world especially in Israel, Stephen Gaerber, B.l.'s youth director told JIVB.
Following dinner, entertainment will include the incredible prestidigitator. Randy Charach, and a family singalong.

Vancouver B'nai B'rith Women, in its continuing commitment to local projects has undertaken a new project -r- the Look and Listen Lending Library for hospital and . homebound children.
The project, which has been accepted as a pilot project for Childrenjs hospital, equips the hospital with Homy tapes made by BBW, along with books and recorders. These will become a permanent collection housed at the host hospital.
Along with its commitment to youth National BBW has been in. the forefront of women's issues, developing programs to, meet the changing women.
BBW also co-sponsored. Kaleidoscope '86, a forum allowing for learning and exchange of ideas across organizational lines as Jewr ish Women.
