The Congress will review the situation in the field of Hebrew Education and Culture in the Diaspora and will plan for the expansion of the educational and cultural institution and projects of the Hebrew Movement in various parts of the world. Camp Miriam honor Leon Jampolsky Over a hundred visitors to Camp Miriam last Sunday paid tribute to Leon Jam.polsky whose efforts have made Camp Miriam one of the finest Zionist Camps in the country. Joy Shawn, president of Vancouver Habonim, presented a plaque to Mr. Jampolsky on behalf of Habonim and Camp Miriam. Harry Gordon, president of the Habonim Zionist society, and Joshua Checov lauded Mr. Jampolsky for his untiring efforts on behalf of Habonim and Camp Miriam. Visitors were able to see the camp in action last weekend. Pishing, arts and crafts, scouting, Israeli dancing, swimming and boating are but a few of the activities that campers have enjoyed during the past four weeks. For the first time in the camp's history, horseback riding was introduced on the program and has proven to be one of the season's most popular activities. These activities combine with the other as.pects of the camp program, Hebrew Study, Bible Discussion, and a work period involving creative projects. Together they have given the campers many enjoyable hours. Special days at the camp include upside-down day, camper's revolution and blue and white day, involving a full day of competitive activities in which the camp is divided into two teams. Period two and three will see several full day hikes and over-nighters. Many of the campers from the first period have stayed over into the second and period two la operating at near capacity. Wor/tf Jewish Congress seeks witnesses vs, Nazis In a major effort to bring to any other of the Dora criminals. trial Nazis responsible for the massacre of Jews in six of the largest concentration camps and ghettos, the West German authorities have asked the World Jewish Congress in New York to help trace eye-witnesses. Anyone who witnessed atrocities in Sachsenhausen, Buchen-wald, Przemysl, Dora, Dvinsk (Duenaburg) and the city and district of Lublin is asked to contact Dr. Nehemiah Robinson, at the World Jewish Congress, 15 East 84th Street, New York, N.Y. The criminal investigation in regard to Przemysl is being directed against the following 28 members of the Security Police: Bennewitz, Reisner (Reisener), Stegemann, Benthin, Wolf, Brandt, Timme, Mueller, Weich-elt, Kajtasz; City Cohimissar Gieselmann; Chief of Labor Josef Schwamberger; Preuss, Breitlow, Mademann, Schwer-hoff, Grusa, Schimang, Schroe-der, Gerlach, Gottschling, Nick-alik, Lanbertz, Nikel, Buchholz, Ludwig, Schubert and Maenn-lich Witnesses of Sachsenhausen are sought in particlar against the former SS-Oberscharfuehrer Otto Kaiser, who in 1939-1942 was block leader in Sachsenhausen, at first in the Jewish block of the small camp and later in the 'isolation block.' He is suspected of a multitude of murders. His picture is available. Testimony against any other criminals of Sachsenhausen is also invited. Dora witnesses are sought, in particular, against the former SS-Obersturmbannfuehrer Bis-choff and the SS-Oberscharfuehrer Sander, who are accused of multiple murder but also against Pictures of Bischoff and Sander are available. Witnesses from Buchenwald are required, in particular against: Otto Wolfgang, Otto Barnewald, Prinz Josias zu Wal-deck, August Bender, Anton Bergmeister, Arthur Diezsch, Hans Eisele, Philipp Grimm, Heinrich Hackmann, Gustaiv Heigel, Peter Merker, Guido Rei-mer, Helmut Roschei*, Albert Sch(warz, Walter Wendt, Franz Zinnecker Nazi victims who were in Dvinsk between July, 1941 and October, 1944, are sought. Those accused in the murder of the Jews of Dvinsk and sourround-ing locaJities are, in particular, the former SS-Hauptsturmfuehr-ers Guenther Tabert and Eber-hard Schuele. Lublin survivors of the city and district Lublin are wanted as witnesses against the Nazi criminals of the region. The criminals were either members of the Security Police (Sicher-heitspolizei) and SS or members of the Order Police (Ord-nungspolizei). Witnesses are needed against criminals from both categories.
