The former Celia Thai was born in Lithuania and came to the United States as a youngster. She was educated in the U.S. and lived in Bellingham, Washington until eight years ago when she took up residence in Vancouver. Mrs. Morton was affiliated here with Hadassah, Temple Sholom Sisterhood and Golden Age club. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. R. (Sue) Mendelsohn of Blaine, Wash,, and Mrs. B. (Lillian) Gorlick of Seattle; and four grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her in 1951. Funeral services and interment took place Jan 5 in Seattle with Rev. Fred S. Gartner officiating.
