The program is organized >so that workshops will be conducted in three languages -- English, French and Yid-disli. The committee planning the Golden Agers' Seventh Annual Members Conference, to be held at the YM-YWHA, 5500 Westbury Ave., is concerned about a number of questions, Mrs. Rose Joffe, Chairman of the Program Committee stated. "We hope the ^-orkshops will determine how the medical profession is planning to handle the extra workload under Medicare; how the number of doctors will be increased; how patients will be assigned hospital, beds; the stage of negotiations between the province and the doctors preference for billing under medicare," said Mrs. Joffe. Under the present arrangements for elderly people on welfare, she said, Golden Agers often are refused .services by doctors not prepared to accept government Medicaide cards.
