A red flashing beacon on Tyre Point. West Thurlow Island. 14 feet above high water, temporarily exhibited from a wooden mast on a concrete base and having a characteristic of 03 seconds flash. 07 seconds eclipse
A trtcolored range light on the south shore of Hardwicke Island. 15 feet above high water, temporarily exhibited from a white wooden mast on a concrete bue and showing fixed red. white and green lights as follows red—320 to 330 degrees, white—330 to 336 degrees: green—336 to 340 degrees, all bearings true from sea-ward
Another lighted beacon is to be established on an unnamed point on the north side of Helmckrn Island in position 50 24 24 N. 125 ■ 27 W

Members of Kincolith UFAWU Local long have pressed the federal government for construction of a breakwater and tieup basin at the village, which now has no protection for its boats.
