10. That Matilda Greek, Steamer Cove, and Refuge Cove, in Clayoquot Sound, be closed to herring seining, except for bait and fresh fish market.
11. That the weekly closed season for salmon-seinin^ end at midnight, Sunday instead of 6:00 p.m. that same day, for the aroa situctcd on the west coast fo Vancouver Island.
12. Ling Cod Closed Season Section 4, Cod Fishing.
For the purpose /of giving added protection to the ling cod, between Vancouver Island rnd the mrinlaid, prohibit fishing until March 15th.
13. That Mitchell Bay, Malcolm Island, be closed to seining.
14. That Viner Sound bo closed to all commercial fishing.
15. That all netting for salmon within 2 miles of the Big Qualicum and the Little Qualicum rivers be prohibited. This regulation to be made permanent instead of temporary.
16. The chief supervisor to be given authority to close clem areas from time to time.

17. Authorisation for the granting of
licenses, without fee, for the use of gillnets, seines, dragnets, by salmon and cod fishermen, for the use of taking herring for bait, not for sale.
18* That the legal size limit for spring salmon be six pounds in the round.
19. That the legal limit for spring salmon be 26 inches in length.
20. That salmon gillnets with a larger mesh than 7 inches be not permitted.
21. That no salmon seining be permitted from sundown to sunrise.
22. That all salmon purse-seines in 1938 have a mesh not less than four inches with the exception of the bunt, which might be S-jV inches.
23. Section 16, Sub-section 1, reads: '•'No salmon gillnet or driftnet shall
be cast from a boat nearer than 100 yards in front oi one already in the water.-: It is suggested that this, section be deleted.
24. That the minimum mesh in the bag of shrimp trrwls be not less than l|-inches extension.
