The UFAWU and Gulf 8c Fraser Fishermen's Credit Union
A half century of working together to serve the fishing industry!
For fifty years the UFAWU has been there for its membership, the industry as a whole and the resource that allows it all to happen — the fish. Similarly, for fifty-five years we at Gulf &: Fraser have been there for our membership and the fishing community. Our interest, support and knowledge of the fishing industry is as strong today as it was when we first opened our doors in 1940.
Like the UFAWU, we have continued to evolve to remain meaningful and effective to our membership. We offer a full range of financial and insurance services at excellent prices and with a style and service level umatched anywhere.
Gulf and Fraser Fishermen's Credit Union salutes the UFAWU and the individuals that comprise its proud ranks. We wish you all the best for the next fifty years and together we will continue to dedicate ourselves to serving the fishing industry.

NIGHTSIGHT
TM
Thermal Vision System
NIGHTSIGHT's system uses Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) technology to detect the differences in heat that objects emit. This means that while scanning sea lanes with NIGHT-SIGHT, you can pick up images that radar might miss. Thermal images that can help you detect dangerous situations like people in the water, vessels with no lights on and buoys or other floating objects. Even warm-water wakes of swimmers and other boats show up on the NIGHTSIGHT system.
NIGHTSIGHT is by no means a replacement for radar. Instead, the two work together to help you safely navigate at night. Radar is great for showing you the location of an object, such as a rock, buoy, boat or nearby land. But to help you negotiate a difficult channel, NIGHTSIGHT can show you the actual objects, so you can identify them in real time. NIGHTSIGHT can even help during a man-overboard emergency. Where radar can't spot a swimmer, NIGHTSIGHT can spot a swimmer, day or night. It comes with video monitor and joystick control.
